Chippendale's Bow-tie

I happened to find this bowtie around my place and thought it would work perfectly with my simple romper. This basic lace romper was in need of some pa-zaz so I paired it with 2 amazing accessory pieces. My extremely long belt from Banana Republic was a nice touch to this look, semi simple to semi funky. To add my own personal style I added a bow-tie to replace a necklace for a little spunk.

Hope you guys like today's look!

TAPESTRY FABRIC

Tapestry! Tapestry! Tapestry!
This circle skirt is a KimchiDiaries Original made by yours truly. Actually found this fabric at Joann's in the Home/Drapery Fabric isle. I've always been into drapery fabrics and using them instead of normal fabric for garments like pants, skirts, tops and whatever I can think of. I absolutely love the textures, various prints, and thickness to it that no other fabric can compare to.

Fringe on fringe

Today's look will surprise all!
Can you believe this chic black dress with fringe open back detailing could be made by the one and only Quiksilver. " Say What?!?!?!" I couldn't believe it at all myself.

Just throwing this out there but this is my all time favorite pose. :)

Could you believe that the belt I'm wearing is a olden day Large? Makes me wonder what a Small would be. Sizes these days have changed dramatically from back then. Think back in the day the average women would be a size 2/4 then you compare to the present day as the average women being size 14.

Wore a statement necklace with a similar look to the back of the dress.

Tried something new with my hair. As you all may know I have extremely long hair so when I a half bun like this it looks like some odd looking mullet hairstyle. "Bleh, not so chic". Today I just had the idea of bring that excess hair from bottom around the bun to create a somewhat of a hair scrunchy. It's a simple on the go look for the busy stylistas out there.

Necklace: TJ Maxx

MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS - THRIFT SHOP FEAT. WANZ (OFFICIAL VIDEO)

Not gonna lie but I'm kind of liking this. Got a nice ring to it. LOL

Band Tee kind of day

It was a band tee kind of day. Thank goodness for roommates with a love for band tees. Thanks Jules! Just a lazy day at work and wanted to wear an over-sized shirt. What not better than a band printed tee to get you through your day. For me what ever I wear, comfort is always key to long days at the office or early mornings at the store. Also for those days when you just don't have the energy to put your face on I choose to throw on some frames and I'm out the door that easy still looking cute as a button.
